Wow – this house in São Paulo from architect Marcio Kogan is…. well, just really cool (honestly, I can’t think of a better word!) The facade is made of Corten weathering steel – which adds an incredible rusty texture to the exterior. The interior, however, is all smooth glass, wood and stone. The combination and interplay of these elements is impressive.
And yes, it boasts an outdoor fireplace and heated rooftop pool… Sigh.

Have you seen the John Deere Headquarters in Illinois, designed by Eero Saarinen? Wish I had a better link, but: http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/John_Deere_and_Company.html
First building that used Cor-ten. I love weathering steel.
