Some amazing images below from Franco Clivio’s book Hidden Forms. Clivio (who is the director of the industrial design department at the Zurich University of the Arts) has been collecting small objects (mainly tools) for many years and has now categorized them, photographed them and put them into a book. The end result is surpringly interesting.
All of these objects have very specific uses – for instance there’s an entire set of razor blade sharpening tools. Who knew??
