This moutain scene seating by Gaetano Pesce is totally bonkers – but I love it for that. You sit on a waterfall! Excellent. It’s called ‘Montanara’ and was designed for Meritalia. Maybe more nature scenes to come?!

Love these shots from Noah Sheldon for the 2010 United Bamboo calendar. Designers Miho Aoki and Thuy Pham actually made cat size versions of looks from the 2010 spring/summer ready-to-wear collection… brilliant, no? A great holiday gift for the cat lover in your family.

I love these print patterns from Aino-Maija Metsola for Marimekko. The apple green/red wine combination in the second design (called Valkea kuulas) is particularly special, don’t you think? It looks great as a sofa cover at least.

Plain English make some seriously beautiful, bespoke kitchens. Their cupboards are hand made by skilled joiners, shelf pegs are hand turned, pot racks are made by the local forge. This is some proper craftsmanship. I’m really enjoying the teal and pale yellow combination in the second image… are you?
