The beautiful, John Lautner-designed Schaffer residence (as seen in A Single Man) is for sale. That being said, I might hold out for the ‘modest’ two-bedroom Walstrom Residence nestled in LA hills.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen uncut diamonds, but they’re quite stunning. These interchangeable, rough diamond rings from Reykjavík’s Sruli Recht are interchangeable – you just unscrew! Genius. Via Dezeen.

I stumbled across the Nordic Bakery yesterday. All their products are based on genuine Nordic recipes and ingredients and the interior is charmingly furnished with various pieces by iconic Nordic designers such as Kaj Franck, Alvar Aalto and Ilmari Tapiovaara.
