A chair created JUST for throwing your clothes on it.  Fantastic. (Thanks Jason!)

I just stumbled on this wildly imaginative residence from Swedish architecture duo, Tham & Videgård Hansson in the new issue of Monocle. In an effort to link the various large rooms in this 10-room, 19th century Stockholm apartment together, they decided to use 7,000 oversized wooden floorboards stained different colours (see the floorplan below).  To contrast [...]

Without planning to, I’ve been on a bit of a green kick this week.  I’m off tomorrow, but thought I’d share one more green post before the weekend (back on top form on Monday!).  I’m totally taken with this felt armchair from Retrouvius.  It’s a nice classic shape, but the green felt is an unexpected [...]

Curious.  If anyone knows more about this place I’d be interested to [...]

I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Desire to Inspire for the Easter shout out.  How cool to be included!

There’s a whole ballpoint pen / biro revolution going on at the moment.  In particular I am really feeling these drawings by Aussie artist, Laith McGregor.  The detail in these is really astounding…  This must be fantastic publicity for Bic! Via Running Amok.
