Enjoy these lovely photos of Casa Cuadrada – the L.A. home of architect/author Tom Marble and his artist/wife, Pae White. I think they’ve really struck a nice balance here – it’s contemporary, yet liveable. I’m also seriously jealous of that cartoon bathmat. I’ll be trolling ebay for my own humourous bathmat all weekend now. On [...]

Check out this brillaint ‘Redesign’ line of products from Norway’s Ralston & Bau. In an effort to be environmentally friendly they’ve designed products (lamps, cake stands and candle holders) that are formed from old plant pots, teacups, lampshades, and teapots. All the original objects were sourced from Fretex (a division of Norway’s Salvation Army.)

On this cold, October Friday enjoy some sunny, mid-century L.A. eye-candy. (I swore I’d never use a word like ‘eye-candy’ but oh well.) This home (right on Mulholland Drive no less) is the Singleton House, designed by the legendary architect Richard Neutra. Lucky for you, it’s on the market (a cool $15 million – excellent!) [...]

Pizza East (from the Soho House Group) has officially opened its doors. The new venture is set in a warehouse space in the old Tea Building, right on Shoreditch High Street and Bethnal Green Road. By all accounts the thin crust pizza is damn good… and the interior is clearly Shoreditch chic. Oh – and [...]
