Janet Echelman’s 230-foot-long polyester sculpture, 1.26. The world’s cities could use some more aerial sculpture, don’t you think?

Relief paintings from Gregory Euclide (as seen on Bon Iver’s new album cover). I love that the materials listed include not only acrylic, paper and pencil but also geranium, moss, dirt, sedum and snow! Brilliant.

The jaw dropping apartment of George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg (in the Perry Street Richard Meier building, no less!) Wowsa. 4,000 sqaure feet is big for the suburbs let alone the West Village.

Apologies for taking 2 whole weeks off, but I was busy sunning it up in Mallorca. (Some very important business!) I think I may have eaten my body weight in squid (‘a la plancha’) and have hopefully gotten enough beach time to last me through to next summer.
It’s very weird to be back in London knowing I was swimming in this sea only a few days ago!
OK – proper posts to follow.
