Rob Makes Paper Cuts

Hopefully one day I’ll own my own Rob Ryan original.  His amazingly intricate paper cuts (and limited-edition screen prints) are available at his online etsy shop, or at his new proper shop on .  They have a bit of a wintery holiday vibe… so a great Christmas gift for that special someone!

Ilse Makes Aesop

I love the Aesop store on Mount Street in London.  Designed by the legendary Ilse Crawford it’s a contemporary and luxurious twist on a traditional chemist’s shop.  I’m impressed by the minimal yet warm vibe – and the inclusion of the cardboard packaging into the design.  It’s like a pile of cardboard logs.  Love it.

Mat Makes Art

I’ve been a fan of Chicago’s Mat Daly for a while now – I’ve bought items for my own house, as well as pieces for friends and family.  His prints run anywhere from $150 to $3,000… and if you’re nice to him he’ll ship internationally.  Get in there!
